He is survived by: his wife Kay Marlene Davis Ison; his children, Jason Ison, Brandie Stivers (Neil) and Amy Thompson (Mark); his sisters, Brenda Roberts, Esther Glass and Florence; and his grandchildren, Tre Stivers, Kendall Thompson and Jacob Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
