He was predeceased by: his mother Dottie Marie Cummings; and his grandparents, John, Delphia Cummings, Rowe and Stella Jinnett.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene Reece Cummings; his daughter Marie Elizabeth Lee Cummings; and his father Jay Cummings. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
