With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Earl Hanks of Calvert City, Kentucky, who passed away on March 11, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Hanks and Dolly Litchfield Hanks; his wife Frances Louise Vickery Hanks; and his siblings, Linda Newson, James, Kenneth, Anthony and Gayle Hanks.
He is survived by: his siblings, Faye Hanks (Billy Fields) of Princeton and Charles Hanks of Caldwell County; his stepchildren, Otis McCormick (Brenda) of Caldwell County and Ydonna Jewell (Ed) of Dycusburg, KY; and his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Jewell, Aaron Jewell, Brian McCormick (Brandy) and Otis McCormick, Jr.. He is also survived by four step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
