With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Virginia Burkhart of Calvert City, Kentucky, who passed away on December 24, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Alen Burkhart; her siblings, James McReynolds, Billy McReynolds, Marie Totty, Faye Smotherman, Elma Reeves and Janice Hobbs; and her grandsons, Christopher Chase Wyatt and Logan Thomas Burkhart.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Wyatt of Benton, KY, Sherry Burkhart, Thomas "Tommy" Burkhart, Sr. (Nisha) of Hickory, KY and Timmy Shane Burkhart (Kelly) of Nashville, TN; and her siblings, Flora Jean Dowdy (Daniel) of Virginia Beach, VA, Peggy Mayes of Mayfield, KY, Wanda Dick (Howard) of Mayfield, KY and Valton McReynolds of Mayfield, KY.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
