He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Thomas Scalf and Delora Gaynell Scalf (Baxley); and his brothers, Dudley, Gerald and Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Lawrence Scalf; his children, Terri Scalf (Scott) and Qunice Scalf; his father-in-law Gerald Lawrence (Maxine); his brothers-in-law, Mike Lawrence (Kelly) and Steve Lawrence (Teresa); his siblings, Garry Scalf (Patti) and Sharon Kunkel (Virgil); his grandchildren, Samuel Howard (Brittany), Joseph Howard (Sandi), Alexandria Tomb (Anthony), Londyn and Cali Scalf; and his great grandchildren, Evan, Olivia, Freddie, Leo, Scarlett, Silas, Benji and Rocco.
