With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Jones Walton of Calvert City, Kentucky, who passed away on November 20, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Odis Walton; her son Tommy Walton; her parents, James A. Jones and Melida Meridith Jones; her siblings, Bethany Baker, Emaline Baker, Lucie Hollowell, Rebecca May, Millie Rhodes and Johnny Jones; and her son-in-law David Lassiter.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Walton (Lorraine) of Rocky Mount, Terry Walton of Calvert City, Kentucky, Shirley Baggett of Paducah and Glenda Lassiter of Calvert City, Kentucky; and her siblings, Pearl Wallace, Jasper Jones and Jerry Jones. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
