He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Rhew Shelton; his children, Melissa Shelton of Calvert City and Matt Shelton (Anna) of Lone Oak, KY; his grandchildren, Ian Shelton, Addie Beth Shelton and Riley Thomas Shelton; and his sisters-in-law, Drlene Bacon (Ron) of Heath and Laura Dorris of Paducah. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great nephews.
