He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul Edwards and Minnie Jo Vasseur Edwards; his wife Martha Sue Edwards; his son Gary Craig Edwards; his brother-in-law Gene Steely; and also, William Paul Edwards and Minnie Jo Vasseur Edwards.
He is survived by: his son Adam Edwards of Calvert City, Kentucky; his sisters, Nora Kay Wallace (Stephen) of Louisville, Kentucky and Ramona Steely of Louisville, Kentucky; his niece Gena Steely Bethune (Jim) of Louisville, Kentucky; and his nephew Tyler Wallace (Beta) of London, England..
