With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Mathis of Calvert City, Kentucky, who passed away on April 2, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Rednour and Millie Rednour; her husband Onnie R. Mathis; her daughter Sharon Mathis; and her siblings, Russell Rednour, Thomas Rednour and Mary Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Mathis of Calvert City, Debra Garrett of Paducah and Pennie Mathis of Calvert City; and her grandchildren, Kayden Mathis, Michael Culligan Jr., Michele Culligan, Teresa Johnson, Tanna England, Terry David Mathis, Misty Jones and Keelie Mathis. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
