He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Curtis and Sylvia Maddox Curtis; his wife Judy Curtis; his son David Curtis; and his brothers, Archie Curtis and Roy Curtis.

He is survived by: his son Troy Allen Curtis; his grandchildren, Jasamine, Curtis (Brandon), Brandon Curtis, Travis Curtis (Randi), Trevor Curtis and Nathan Curtis; his great grandchildren, Hailey Curtis (Dalton), Ryan Curtis, Nora Curtis and Harrison Curtis- of Texas; and his great great grandchild Wrenley Mae Beckman.
