He was predeceased by: his parents, Muncie Earnhart and Eva Earnhart; and his brothers, Jerry and Reid. He is survived by: his wife Wilma; his children, Eric Earnhart (Michelle) of Blacksburg, VA and Kim Latham (Sid) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Beth Ray of Gardendale, AL, Andrew Ray, Grace Earnhart, Kaitlyn Ray, Christine Eckhardt (Kade), Jacob Latham and Melanie Latham; and his brother Rex Earnhart.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Florida College Scholarship.
