She was predeceased by: her parents, John O. Smith and Lucy Mitchell Smith; her former husband Emmett M. Taylor; and her siblings, Owsley Smith, Harold Smith and Catherine Wheeler.
She is survived by: her husband William Markert; her children, Dianne T. Staggs (Robert), Emmett Grayson Taylor (Janet), Carolyn T. Greer (James) and Lucinda T. Graham (C. E.); her stepchildren, Jan Miles (Bill) and Susie Remfry (Tony); her brother David Smith (Kay); and her sister-in-law Winona Smith. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many other special family members.
Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Staggs and James Greer, The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society or Bowling Green Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
