He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earnest Donahue and Mary Golda Clark; his siblings, John Ernest, Jr., Joseph Howard, Cecelia, Myrtle, Pauline, Kathleen, Judy, Frankie, JoAnn and Gerald; and his grandson J. D..

He is survived by: his wife Marie Donahue; his children, Grace Donahue and Kim Kammer (Jim); and his brother Tom Donahue. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
