He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Grubb and Bessie Grubb; his wife Joyce Grubb; his daughter Melissa Gibson; and his siblings, Elva Veese, Roxie Burch, Beulah Ray, Ilene Barrett, Bertha Edwards, Callie Sandlin, Delbert, Hubert, Herbert and Homer Grubb.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Reed, Libbie Watson (Danny Hoskins), Richard, Douglas Grubb and Danny Watson; and his sisters, Doris Byrd and Laura Steely. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (10759 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, KY 41001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McDaniel Cemetery.
