With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garland Hall of California, Kentucky, born in Ashland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clay Hall and Ottie Lee Edwards Hall; his siblings, Louise Roy, Janelle Johnson, Hazel Elkins, Josephine Stricklin, Lola Loftis, James Hall, George Hall, Gary Hall and Douglas Hall; his significant other Cleda Patrick Hall; and his granddaughter Jessica Vanderdoes Wells.
He is survived by: his daughter Deleda Hall Vanderdoes of Spokane, Washington; and his grandchildren, Erin Moss of Columbus, Ohio and Robert Vanderdoes (Brandy) of Columbus, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
