He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Smith and Arlena Robinson Smith; his wife Ollie Bell Smith; his son Philip W. Smith; and his siblings, Irene Barnes, Imogene Sherrell, Ruth Hicks and Tom Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Smith (Regina) and Mark Smith (LeAnne); his daughter-in-law Debbie Smith; and his siblings, Doris Tingle, Betty Rittenberry (Elmer), Patsy Lentz, Janet Straughn, Judy Winters (Donnie) and Stephen Smith (Grace). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Westport Baptist Church or Hosparus of Louisville in his memory.
