He was predeceased by: his parents, Clint Austin and Effie Lindsey Austin; his granddaughter Alyssa Austin; and his siblings, Charles Austin, Darrell Austin and Freda Tabor.
He is survived by: his former wife Martha Leona Woosley; his wife Leona Austin; his sons, Roger Austin (Janet) of Calhoun, Bryan Austin (Kim) of Calhoun and Dr. Michael Austin (Andrea) of Utica; and his grandchildren, Kelly Brown (Joseph), Laura Beth Littlepage (Brice), Adam Austin (Jessica), Ashley Tuggle (Nathan), Stephen Austin, Luke Austin and Ben Austin. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
