She was predeceased by: her parents, Erman Grundy and Arzona Durbin Ellis; her brother J. E. Ellis; and her sister-in-law Keneda Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Greg Miller (Angie) of Poplar Grove and Valerie Blackford (Kenny) of Calhoun; her granddaughters, Kayla Davis (Clay) and Ashley Dame (Wesley); her great grandchildren, James Carol Davis, Luke Thomas Davis and Maverick Leo Dame; and her brothers, Mav and Ronald Grundy Ellis (Phyllis) of Owensboro. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, countless friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calhoun Baptist Church (315 Main St, Calhoun, KY 42327). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
