He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dudley and Helen Vickers Nall Shanks; and his brothers, Ronnie Shanks and Reggie Shanks. He is survived by: his brother Robbie Shanks (Cindy) of Philpot; his sisters-in-law, Pattie Shanks of Madisonville and Paula Shanks of Owensboro; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Shanks of Calhoun, James Shanks of St. Louis, Katrina Darnall (David) of Dalton and Rebecca Shanks of Lexington. He is also survived by 4 great nieces; and a great nephew.
