He was predeceased by: his father Marshall Rodney. He is survived by: his mother Janie LaVon Dukes Smith of Panther; his son Blake Smith (Lindsey) of Owensboro; his close friend Sherry Jones of Calhoun; and also, Felicia Newcomb of Calhoun, Tearra Jones of Calhoun, Ollie Newcomb, Melody Newcomb, Weston Williams, Scott Smith (Kelley) of Panther and Barry Smith (Brooke) of Panther.
