He was predeceased by: his wife Glenna Jones; and his grandsons, Jesse Jones and Tyler Beck. He is survived by: his children, DeWayne Jones (Paula) of Calhoun and Denise Beck (Tim) of Winslow, Indiana; his grandchildren, Daniel Johnson, Hart Jones (Makenzie), Desiree "Janise" Johnson and Baylee Jones; his great grandchild Brysyn Johnson; his brothers, Bill Jones of Calhoun and Bob Jones (JoAnn) of Cloverport; and his siblings-in-law, Roberta Jones of Calhoun, Connie Jones of Owensboro, Dottie Brown of Calhoun and Donnie Coleman (Retha) of Beech Grove.
