He was predeceased by: his parents, David Dant and Linda Hayden Dant; and his brothers, Jerry Dant and Timothy Dant. He is survived by: his wife Janet Dant; his children, Jonathon Severs of Owensboro and Asia Dant of Calhoun; his sister Joyce Hardin (Chris) of Calhoun; and his mother-in-law Darlene Freels.
