It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Despain of Cadiz, Kentucky, born in Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter Lee DeSpain, Sr. and Joyce Oaplie Coley DeSpain; and his brothers, James DeSpain, Jr. and Dorris Wayne DeSpain. He is survived by: his wife Gayl Hodge DeSpain of Cadiz; his children, Patrick DeSpain (Tammy) of Lovington, Jared DeSpain (Stephanie) of Cadiz and Melinda "Mindy" DeSpain Sanborn (Paul) of Bowling Green; and his grandchildren, Austin Pugh (Brittany), Jordan DeSpain, Joseph DeSpain, Daniel DeSpain, Abigayl DeSpain and Aaron DeSpain.
