He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Herman Ezell and Dessie Lena Francis Ezell; his siblings, Charles Ezell, Johnny Preston Ezell, Marie Randolph, Mary Katie Taylor, Ressie Woodruff, Gertrude Lancaster and Virginia Hall; his granddaughter Ellen Scott Ezell; and his great grandchild Emily Scott Cook.
He is survived by: his wife June Flood Ezell; his children, Cindy Ezell Hinson of Cadiz and Scott; his daughter-in-law Beth Ezell of Franklin, TN; his grandchildren, Daphne Hinson, Jack Ezell, Will Ezell and Sam Ezell; his great grandchildren, Sabrina Cook and Madison Cook; and his great great grandchildren, Lukas Cook and Sophia Ayers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
