It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Kay Nelson Schrack of Cadiz, Kentucky, born in Gibson City, Illinois, who passed away on August 16, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Nelson and Goldie Mae Knell Nelson; her adoptive parents, Elmer Nelson and Dee Nelson; and her sisters, Donna Ray Nelson and Wanda Prosser.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Celeschi (Pat) of Gibson City, Heather Delong (Ted) of Chatsworth and Malea Schrack of Cadiz; and her siblings, Pete Nelson (Shirley) of Saybrook, Joe Nelson of Nashville, TN., Michael Nelson (Michele) and DeAnn Weber (Roger) of Normal, Ill.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great grandchild.
