She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Pruitt and Ethel Payne Pruitt; and her brother-in-law Chuck Jordan. She is survived by: her husband Melvin R. Doss; her daughters, Kari Averill of Murray, Kentucky and Amy Curd of Murray, Kentucky; her sister Joedda Jordan of Paducah, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Alec Strieter, Nolan Averill, Emma Grace Curd and Trendon Curd.
