She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mode and Martha Horton Mode; her siblings, Eddie Mode, Walter Mode, Delsie Goodson, Hazel Deisher, Mary Ingle and Martha Gillihan; her son-in-law Jose Carrion; and her grandson Jason Meranda.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Joyce of Cadiz; her daughters, Brenda Bruce (Greg) of Cadiz and Sandy Carrion of Greencastle; her grandchildren, Christina Walker, Grady Romblad (Deanna) and Tracy Leidy (David); her great grandchildren, Samantha Hulte, Ariel Meranda, Autumn Meranda, Kyle Walker, Paige Klouser, Megan Leidy, Connor Romblad, Shane Klouser (Natasha), Chance Klouser, Luke Leidy and Hannah Romblad; and her sister Goldie Deisher of Mount Carmel, Ill.. She is also survived by nine great-great-grandchildren.
