It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicolas Virgilio Mejia Jr. of Cadiz, Kentucky, who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolas V. Mejia, Sr. and Gladys Cox Mejia; his sister Carmen Acosta; his nieces, Doris Aimee and Dealma Acosta; and his grandson Adam Glazier.
He is survived by: his wife Celena Malone Mejia of Cadiz; his children, Steven Mejia (Susan) of Edison, NJ, Valerie Glazier (James) of Richmond, VA, Allyson Mejia Branscom (Howard) of Ashburn, VA and Catherine Sinex (Scott) of Cadiz; his sister Teresa Mejia of California; his grandchildren, Cyndii Sinex, Nicolas, Jessika Borelli, Laura Pittman, Elizabeth, Greg Watson, Robert Sinex, Zachary Glazier and Jennifer Mejia; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Scarlett Borelli, Emma Skinner and Gabriel Watson; and his niece Nadia Grosfoguel.
In order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, it is requested that face masks be worn to the services.
