She was predeceased by: her parents, John Taylor Allen and Caladonia Johnson Allen; her stepmother Mary Askew Allen; her husband Herbert Cook; her former husband Stanley "Big" Cox; her sons, Randy Cox and Charlie Cox; and her siblings, John Allen, Thomas Allen and Sue Allen Faris.
She is survived by: her children, James Cox of Cadiz, Ricky Cox of Cadiz, Lacy Cox of Shepherdsville, KY, Julian Cook of Maryland, Carolyn Snyder of Cadiz, Jeanne Snyder of Cadiz, Wavelene Johnson of Paducah, KY and Norma Tarrance of Shepherdsville; and her siblings, Donny Allen, Wayne Allen, Robert Allen, Bobby Askew, Gracie Lewis and Lucy Hart. She is also survived by grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
