She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Helland and Josephine Helland (Novak); her husband Howard Leon Ward; and her sisters, Evelyn Hamlin, Ruth Fife and Ethel Korycki.
She is survived by: her niece Donna Bourdage of Homer Glen, Ill.; her siblings-in-law, Archie Ward of Evansville, Ind. and Ruth Ward Phelps of Indianapolis, Ind.; and her close friend Ben Helen Burkeen of Cadiz. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews and friends.
