He was predeceased by: his parents, Tandy Hicks and Liza Bell Wallace Hicks; and his siblings, Emma Jean Niemi, Patsy Prater, Glen Hicks and TJ Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy A. Hicks; and his children, Jimmy "Bo" Hicks, Jr., Jeryl Scott (Zac) and Lore Reece of Cadiz, KY. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren.
