It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Boren of Cadiz, Kentucky, born in Princeton, Kentucky, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Boren and Katie Smith Boren Sholar; his former wife June Boren; and his son Stephen Boren. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou DeShazo Boren of Cadiz, KY; his sons, David Boren (Beth) and John Boren (Patricia); his stepsons, Bill Harris of Amarillo, TX, Russell Harris of Los Angeles, CA and Sam Harris, Jr.; his brothers, Twyman Boren (Betty) and Bob Boren (Shirley); his daughter-in-law Lisa Boren of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Wesley Boren of Hopkinsville, KY, Meagan Lynn White (Jared) and Kayla Danielle Boren of Louisville, KY; and his great grandchildren, Audrey, Jonas and Mila.
