He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie William and Lottie B. Russell Jones; and his stepdaughter Chantell Humphries. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jones; his stepdaughter Carrie L. Baker; and his siblings, Robert J. Jones (Jamesetta), Charles T. Jones, Michael W. Jones (Beverly), Flora Bacon, Pacola Jones-Colon and Victoria Herrin. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
