He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Tyler and Nell Tyler (Allen); his wife Cookye Tyler (Peek); and his siblings, Lonnie Dale Tyler and Pamela Jean Tyler.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Dale Tyler (Midge) of Lebanon, Tenn. and Teressa "Puddy" Jones (Wendell) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Wendy Ladd (Taylor), Presley Tyler and Halen Tyler; his great grandchildren, Mason Ray Ladd and Waylon Cash Tyler; and his sisters, Linda Nichols (Billy Joe) of Cadiz and Dianne Hill (Larry) of Cadiz.
