He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris William Merrick and Barbara Wilson Merrick; and his sisters, Juanita Forguson and Jean Gamblin. He is survived by: his wife Janice Major Merrick of Cadiz; his daughters, Christy Olson (Richard) of Clarksville, Tenn and Beverly Curling (Shawn) of Cadiz; his grandchildren, Emily Olson, Bryce Olson, Alex Curling, Collin Curling and Ethan Curling; and his brother Ryan Merrick (Elizabeth) of Cadiz.
