He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Katherine Cheatham Bridges. He is survived by: his siblings, Norma Jean Braxton, Roy Bridges Jr. (Sonny), Roberta Tyler (Larry), Alberta Bacon (Jerry), Richard Bridges, Katherine Bridges, Virginia Hudson (Vincent), Arnella McReynolds (Doug Sr.), Willie Bruce Bridges and Greg Bridges (Rainey). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives.
