He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Ethridge and Catherine Bennett Ethridge; his significant other Phyllis Stull; his sister Mary Francis Knight; his daughter Cheryl Cunningham; his grandson Zachary Thomas; and his great grandchild Liam McCord.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Kamaski (Robert), James Edward Ethridge, Jr., Jayme Ethridge Junker, John Ethridge (Denyse) and Stefanie Scheubert (Clint); his grandchildren, James Ethridge, III, Kimberly McCord, Shannon, Matthew, Jordan, Trisha Junker and Sarah Ethridge; his great grandchildren, Breanna, Ellie Beberg, Sienna Junker, Izzy, Marley and Gavin McCord; his close friends, Rita Hammock and Charlene Thomason; and also Marsha Pater (Bill).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 4:00 PM, at 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church (1698 Canton Rd, Cadiz, KY 42211). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2501 Old Villa Ridge Rd, Villa Ridge, IL 62996).
