He is survived by: his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Jessica Herndon of Carlsbad, NM; his grandchildren, Caleb, Abigail and Isabella Herndon; and his siblings, Robert "Billy" Herndon (Nita) of Porterville, CA, Nick Herndon (Kim) of Hopkinsville, KY and Joy Herndon of Cadiz.
