He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lovins and Bertha Lovins; his grandson Aaron John "A. J." Lovins; and his brothers, Charles Lovins, Ronnie, Donnie Lovins, Dennis Ray Lovins and Baby Boy Lovins.
He is survived by: his wife Sylva Nell Elkins Lovins; his sons, Billy Joe Lovins (Carolyn Burgess), Rickey Joe Lovins (Gail), Jackie Darrall Lovins (Penny) and Tommy Ray Lovins (Brooke); his grandchildren, Tierney Lovins, Camo Ray Lovins and Kinsley Lovins; his great grandchildren, Ethan Wayne Harold, Cole Austin Harold, Addie May Harold and Buea Daniel Harold; and his sister Faye Robinson.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anglin Funeral Home (402 Donelson Pkwy, Dover, TN 37058). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
