She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Marion and Elsie Lou Kennedy (Hellums); and her siblings, Marvin Kennedy, James Kennedy, Josephine Groves, Mary Margaret Horton and Bessie Irene Kennedy.
She is survived by: her husband Charles. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great nieces and great-great-nephews.
