It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Owens of Cadiz, Kentucky, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aron Owens and Amy Ritchie Owens; his former wife Georgia Owens; his son Howard Douglas Owens; his stepdaughter Deborah Sharp; and his siblings, Everett Owens, Alden Owens and Shelby Jean Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Owens of Cadiz, KY; his daughter Frankie Stivers (Steven); his stepdaughters, Donna Sharp Patrick (Tony), Brandy Sharp Allen (Jeremy), Jessica Sharp (Marc) and Rebecca Sharp Mathis (Wesley); his siblings, Denny Owens (Elaine) and Geraldine Hudson (Billy); his grandchildren, Katlin Stivers (Andrew), Jacob Stivers (Peyton), Kassidy Stivers, Katherine Stivers, Karolyn Stivers, Debbie Shelton, Kimberlee Shelton Sholar (Ean), Hunter Shelton, Payton Patrick, Kayden Patrick, Austin Allen, Natalie Allen, Brently Allen, Chase Allen, Julieanne Cruse, Marcus Cruse, Conner Cruse, Dawson Ryan, Hayden Stewart, Skylar Mathis, Landon Mathis and Waylon Mathis; and his great grandchild Anastasia Belle Sholar.
