He was predeceased by: his parents, L. L. Freeman and Elsie Duigiud Freeman; his wife Blanche Elizabeth Banister Freeman; and his siblings, Amos, George, Charlie, Edgar, Edwin, Howard, Jesse, Lindsey Freeman, Elsie Morris, Irene Grigsby and Ada Dentler.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Freeman (Sandra) of Fort Morgan, Ronnie Freeman (Laurie) of Clarksville, Tennessee and Betty Cornette (Carson) of Cadiz; his grandchildren, Robin Crenshaw (Marty), Whitney Dow (Roy), Ashley Freeman and Travis Freeman; and his great grandchildren, Benji Burks (Brianna), Christopher Crenshaw (Kassey), Tru Neilson, Tyce Freeman and Kaleb Shoemaker. He is also survived by six great great grandchildren.
