He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hendrix of Cadiz, KY; his children, Dion Hendrix (Sharon) of Cadiz, KY, Frank Hendrix, Jr. of Cadiz, KY, Chandra Hendrix (Patrick) of Cadiz, KY and Brandy Meaux of Louisville, KY; his siblings, Jeremiah Hendrix, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, James Hendrix (Ida) of Baltimore, MD, Louis Thomas Hendrix of Tampa, FL, Jerry Ann "Sista" Anderson of Cadiz, KY and Erma Mae Pollard of Cleveland, OH; and his grandchildren, Shanikita Stewart, Derenzo Mayes and Shirlisha Mayes.
