He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Berkley; his sister Suzanna Mitchell; and his grandson Todd Crisp. He is survived by: his wife Clara Nell Bridges Crisp of Cadiz, KY; his son Michael E. Crisp; and his grandchildren, Jason Crisp (Laura), Jonathan Crisp (Susan), Leah Crisp and Jarrott Crisp (Amber). He is also survived by 16 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
