He was predeceased by: his parents, Othinial Boren and Vina Joiner Boren; his former wife Dorothy Boren; his grandchildren, Ronnie Humphries, Jodie and Maddie Boren; his stepson James Dennis; and his siblings, Billy Joe Boren and Lolita Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Boren of Calvert City; his children, Jay Boren (Danielle) of Petersburg, Ind., Clay Boren of Petersburg, Ind., Jan Humphries (Gene) of Hopkinsville, Brenda May (John) of Herndon, Donna Reynolds (Jimmy) of LaFayette, Wanda Calhoun (Billy "Hop") of Cadiz, Linda Reason of Cadiz, Debra Fuller (Henry) of Cadiz, Elaine Schroader (Ronnie) of Dexter, Debbie Poiner (Wendell) of Dexter, Sandy Williams (Danny) of Gilbertsville and Terri Nimmo (Jeff) of Benton; his sister Reva Mitchell (Shelby) of Evansville, Ind.; and also Mike Cotton (Gina) of Hartford. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
