He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Hunter and Erma Wallace Hunter; and his siblings, Dennis Hunter, James Hunter, Dewey Hunter, Homer Lee Hunter, Wendell Hunter, William Hunter, Merle Ball, Georgia Hancock, Eva Toll, Opal Wadlington, Erma Lane Hunter and Katie Noel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Stites (Chris) of White House, Tennessee and Emily McAlister of White House, Tennessee; his grandsons, Alex Walker, Tyler Stites and Dillon Wallace; his sister Donna Jane Hanberry (Tommy) of Cadiz; and his close friend Mary Ann Stevens.
