He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Gardner and Darlene Bennett Gardner; and his nephew Patrick Skaggs. He is survived by: his wife Peggie Skaggs Gardner of Cadiz; his son Chris Buckman (Leslye) of Hopkinsville; his grandchildren, Riley Buckman, Ty Buckman and Mia Buckman; and his brothers, John A. Gardner (Marilyn) of Bowling Green, Richard Gardner (Liz) of Portland, TN, Stephen Gardner (Peggy) of Owensboro, Larry and Arden Ultizsch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
