He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Jewell Thompson and Loretta Jean Wood Thompson; his brother Lloyd Thompson; and his niece Keita Bendt. He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Wilson (Billy) of Falling Waters and W. Va (Jeanie Swanson); and his nieces and nephews, Amber Reaver (Vincent), Heidi Thompson, Jacqualine Bendt, Devan Wilson and Jacob Bendt.
