He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shelley Hickcox of Cadiz, KY; his children, Brian Boyd (Giomaris) of Safety Harbor, FL, Jeff Hickcox (Shannon) of Cincinnati, OH, Greta Gill (David) of Grand Rapids, MI, Sarah Hyatt (Jay) of Casa Grande, AZ and Heather Moskal (Michael); his sisters, Gwendolyn Louise Boyd of Hoover, AL, Barbara Josephine Boyd of Benton Harbor, MI and Sandra Drake Stortz Robers (Phillip) of Chadds Ford, PA; his grandchildren, Adam Gill, Caitlin Gill, Vanessa Hickcox, Natalie Hickcox, Oliver Geck, Jane Geck and Lucas Boyd; and his parents, David Milton Boyd, Jr. and Louise VanDeventer Boyd. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
