He was predeceased by: his parents, Otes E. Englen and Maxine Hutson Englen; and his siblings, Phillip Englen and Linda Kay Englen. He is survived by: his wife Carol Englen; his sons, David L. Englen, Jr. (Michelle Stacey) and Douglas M. Englen (Christina); his grandchildren, Christopher Englen (Rachelle), Alexandria Englen, Catheryn Englen and Elizabeth Englen; and his great grandchildren, Carter and Reagan Englen.
